TAKE THE FIRST STEP
Recovia's chronic pain program is frequently combined with the opioid detox program. Long term opiate therapy can actually contribute to pain over time so management of all causes of pain can help create a more effective pain management plan. At Recovia, we recognize that chronic pain is a multi-dimensional issue that impacts daily life on every level. Our goal is to help patients navigate different methods of pain management in order to create a more natural, long term pain plan.
We understand a chronic pain program does not "cure" or "fix" pain but helps you return to your pain management provider or referring physician with more functional, long term tools to help manage chronic pain. . The chronic pain program varies from 3 - 5 days per week, typically 3 hours per day for 6 weeks. Patients receive one on one and group therapy pointed at their pain issues and participate in pain management counseling and education. Each day includes a behavioral health hour as well as an active hour and a functional hour.
The goal for each patient is to have an established, individualized pain plan by the end of week 6 and to maintain and strengthen this plan over the next 6 months of supportive care. Supportive care includes tapered visits throughout the 6 months following the active care program.
RECOVIA is a multidisciplinary, outcome driven, functional program for chronic pain and opiod dependence. Patients enter a FLEXIBLE 4-6 week intensive outpatient program along with an up to 48 week supportive care program that includes medical management, behavioral health and physical therapy – all under one roof.
